Palo Santo, meaning "holy wood" is a tree native to South Amrica belonging to the same family as frankincense and myrrh, and has been used dating back to pre-Hispanic civilataions. The Incas are known to have used the sacred wood in rituals and ceremonies for spiritual purificarion, energy cleansing and healing.
