Negro-Stripe
Pillow case front made from a vintage Liijlla (Quechua for a square shawl made of two handwoven strips joined edge to edge, it's a multipurpose weave used to carry babies, food or just about anything) and backing is a wool bayeta (baize)
We try to re-use our materials as much as possible, so this piece was made from a textile that was torn or not in a great condition.
Product Info
This is a vintage piece - Made form a Llijlla that is 100% sheep's wool and dyed with natural dyes and woven on a ground loom. It belonged to someone for likely decades. We take great care in hand selecting the pieces we choose and while for the most part they are in amazing conditions, these have been loved and used for many many years and therefore aren't perfect 'brand new' items. We feel this adds to the beauty and uniqueness of these pieces, and we hope you do too.
